Prof. KURTULUŞ KARAMUSTAFA

He  received his master's degree from Erciyes University Institute of Social Sciences and PhD degree from Strathclyde Universiy.

He was assigned as research assistant and assistant professor respectively at Erciyes University, and after receiving the title of associate professor in marketing from UAK, he was appointed as an associate professor. Karamustafa, who is a faculty member (Prof. Dr.) at Erciyes University Tourism Faculty, also served as the founding dean of the faculty. Previously, he served as the deputy director and head of the department at Erciyes University Nevşehir School of Tourism and Hotel Management, and as the Founding Manager of Erciyes University Nevşehir M.Y.O., along with his duties as Vice Dean at Erciyes University Nevşehir Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He organized the 1st National Vocational School Directors Meeting and the 14th National Tourism Congress. In addition to these, he is a referee in many national and international journals, membership in scientific meetings, advisory and executive boards. 

He has been serving as the founding rector of Kayseri University since September 06, 2018, with the appreciation and approval of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

He has a good command of English and has many national and international publications in the fields of marketing, tourism and hotel management. He is married with two children.
