Biography
Dr. Engin Evrim Önem earned his Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Erciyes University in 2001, followed by a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Bilkent University and a PhD in English Linguistics from Hacettepe University. From 2008 to 2009, he served as a research assistant in the Linguistics Department at the University of Connecticut with a Fulbright scholarship. His research interests include Turkish syntax, experimental linguistics, and language teaching and has authored numerous publications. He has been a faculty member at Erciyes University for more than 20 years.
