Toxicology and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Research Group

ER-TOX LAB is a licensed medical biochemistry laboratory specializing in the analysis of illicit and abused substances, as well as therapeutic drug monitoring. It is authorized by the Ministry of Health as a “Verification Laboratory” for the analysis of illegal/prohibited substances and accepts samples from various cities across the country. Samples collected from Clinical Toxicology, AMATEM, and forensic institutions are analyzed and reported in our laboratory using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS techniques. With a comprehensive library search, an 'unknown substance screening' can be performed for nearly 1000 illicit and abused substances. Approximately 100 of these substances can be quantitatively analyzed using certified reference materials and validation methods. Additionally, therapeutic drug monitoring can be performed for various drug groups, including antipsychotics, antidepressants, and immunosuppressants.
