Prof. RAMAZAN CANHİLAL

Biography

Ramazan Canhilal was born in Gaziantep,1963. He graduated from Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Çukurova University in 1986 with the first rank. Ramazan Canhilal, who also completed his master's degree at the same university, earned a doctoral scholarship and completed his doctorate in 2000 at Clemson University in South Carolina, USA. He worked as a researcher at ICARDA, the International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas, between 2000-2004, and as Deputy General Manager in the General Directorate of Food and Control, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry between 2004-2006. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Erciyes University in 2006. Today, he continues to share his knowledge and experience with his students and many researchers as Professor at the same faculty. Entomology, Insect Pathology, Integrated Pest Management, Biological Control, and Plant Quarantine are his main fields of study.
