Hülya
Deveci
(Res. Asst. Dr. Erciyes University) received her bachelor’s degree from
Erciyes University, Department of Japanese Language and Literature in 2012. She
studied Japanese and Japanese culture at Osaka International University as a full
scholarship exchange student for a year between 2010 and 2011. In 2012, she was
appointed as a research assistant at Erciyes University, Department of Japanese
Language and Literature. In 2016, she received her master’s degree from Erciyes
University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Japanese Language and
Literature with her thesis titled “An Example to Myth´s Social and Historical
Reflection: Japanese Emperor”. In 2022, she received her doctorate from Ankara University,
Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Japanese Language and Literature
with her thesis titled “State Nationalism of Christian Japanese: In the Example
of Kirisutokyo Sekai, Rikugo and Shinjin Magazines (1900-1912)”. She conducted research
as a visiting doctoral student at Doshisha University for one year between 2018
and 2019. In 2024, she was a visiting researcher at Doshisha University.
