UN Sustainable Development Goals
Biography
I was born in Palu-Elazig, Turkiye. After completing my primary and secondary education in Elazig, I was accepted for undergraduate education in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Erciyes University (ERU). I graduated from this department in 2010, and attended to the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics, ERU as research assistant in 2013 just after a short-term sector experience and long-term military service. During my doctoral education (PhD) and working as academic faculty staff in the field of aerospace sciences, I have taught various courses such as air-space vehicle control, flight dynamics, avionics systems, artificial intelligence, optimization techniques, and image processing. He is the author of the book Flight Dynamics and Control (in Turkish language).
In addition to my studies in engineering and technical sciences, I also aimed to contribute to the society in the field of social and human sciences. In these fields, I conducted several researches on determination of bone age in children, coping strategies of asylum refugees, mutual relations between Mormons and Muslims, and neuropsychology of religion.
Currently, I am pursuing my research and teaching career as assistant professor at the Department of Astronautical Engineering where I was appointed in 2020. My researches and studies in the area of related fields are supported from ERU BAP, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TUBITAK) and Turkish Aerospace Industries. I am married and we have three children.
I am available to evaluate research proposals in my area of expert from MSc and PhD students or candidates. Please see my lab for details.
