NEXUS (Network for Excellence in Soil and Underground Studies) is an active research group operating under the academic umbrella of Foundationa, a multidisciplinary platform dedicated to advancing geotechnical knowledge and innovation.

As one of Foundationa’s specialized units, NEXUS focuses on the dynamic interface between experimental soil mechanics, numerical modeling, and sustainable geotechnical applications. The group promotes forward-thinking approaches to ground behavior, foundation systems, and soil–structure interaction.

With an emphasis on collaboration, academic excellence, and research-led innovation, NEXUS contributes to the development of resilient infrastructure and next-generation foundation technologies. Its mission is to explore and shape the evolving challenges in geotechnical engineering through scientific rigor and creative exploration.
