Eski Uygurca Araştırma Grubu

The Old Uyghur Research Group aims to examine the Old Uyghur language, which is one of the oldest periods of Turkish, its interaction with other languages, and the subjects in the Old Uyghur texts (astronomy; medicine; religion/Buddhism, Manichaeism, Christianity; law). In addition, there is also a comparison of Old Uyghur and other historical periods. Thus, the this group makes significant contributions to linguistic research, especially to the historical development of Turkish.
