Erciyes University Cybersecurity and Engineering Research Team (ERU-CERT)
The Erciyes University Cybersecurity and Engineering Research Team (ERU-CERT) is a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to advancing the fields of cybersecurity, engineering, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. ERU-CERT aims to deliver real-world solutions to cybersecurity and engineering problems through innovative research and practical applications.
ERU-CERT collaborates with the Karaelmas Cyber Security Application and Research Center at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, as well as expert researchers from Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University and Obuda University.
ERU-CERT focuses on key research domains, including but not limited to:
Cybersecurity:
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS): Developing artificial intelligence based hybrid models for efficient anomaly and attack detection
- Crytography: Investigating and implementing advanced cryptographic techniques to ensure data and communication security..
Engineering:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Applying AI in various fields including healthcare diagnostics, sentiment analysis, indoor air guality prediction, data classification, decision-making systems, and microwave circuit design.
- Internet of Things (IoT): Designing secure, real-time IoT systems for various applications such as smart factory, smart farm, and environmental monitoring.
