ÖZET
Bu tez çalışmasında 17. yüzyılın önemli âlimlerinden Abdülkâdir bin Ömer el-Bağdâdî’nin, Şâhidî İbrâhim Dede’nin Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî adlı manzum sözlüğünü şerh etmek için yazdığı Şerh-i Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî adlı eseri, ilmî usûllerle incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.
Yazılmış en meşhur manzum sözlüklerden olan Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî, kendisinden sonra gelen yazarları çokça etkilemiş ve yüzyıllar boyunca Türk eğitim sisteminde temel eğitim seviyesinde kullanılmıştır. Bu sebeple, eser için çok sayıda şerh yazılmıştır. Bu şerhlerin en önemlilerinden biri, 17. yüzyılda Abdülkâdir bin Ömer el-Bağdâdî tarafından yazılan Şerh-i Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî’dir. Bağdâdî şerhinde, Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî’de anlamları verilen kelimeleri derinlemesine incelemiş; kelimelerin ilk anlamlarının yanı sıra anlamdaşlarını, sesteşlerini, yan anlamlarını, mecaz anlamlarını ve terim anlamlarını da vermiştir. Ayrıca verdiği bilgileri şâhid beyitlerle desteklemiştir.
Tez çalışmamızda, eserin mensup olduğu şerh ve manzum sözlük geleneğindeki yerini ortaya koymak için ilmî bir inceleme yapılmıştır. Eseri bilim adamlarının istifadesine sunmak için eserin çeşitli yazma kütüphanelerinde bulunan nüshaları incelenerek nüsha tavsifleri yapılarak tasnif edilmiş; metin tenkidi yöntemiyle müellif nüshasına en yakın metin oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra eserde geçen ve kültürel bir değer taşıyan kelime ve kavramların dizini hazırlanmıştır. Ayrıca eserde geçen kelimelerle ilgili olarak bir sözlük hazırlanmış ve sözlükte şârihin ifadeleri hem orijinal hâliyle hem de günümüz Türkçesiyle verilmiştir.

ABSTRACT
In this thesis, the work of Abdülkâdir bin Ömer el-Bağdâdî, one of the important scholars of the 17th century, written in order to annotate the verse dictionary of Şâhidî İbrâhim Dede, called Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî, was studied with scientific methods.
The Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî, which is one of the most known verse dictionary, has effected most of the writers who lives after it’s written and was used at the level of basic education in the Turkish education system for centuries. For this reason, many annotations were written for this verse dictionary. One of the most important of these commentaries is Şerh-i Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî, written by Abdülkâdir bin Ömer el-Bağdâdî in the 17th century. Bağdâdî studied in depth the words given in Tuhfe-yi Şâhidî in his commentary and he gave synonyms, connotations, metaphor meanings and term meanings as well as the initial meanings of words. He also supported the information he gave with sample couplets.
In this thesis, a scientific examination has been made to reveal the place of the work in the annotation and verse dictionary tradition. In order to present the work for the use of scientists, the copies of the work in various manuscript libraries have been examined and classified by making a copy of manuscript description; with the text criticism method, the text closest to the author's copy was tried to be created. Later, an index of words and concepts that have a cultural value in the work was prepared. In addition, a glossary has been prepared regarding the words in the work and the expressions of the commentator are given both in their original form and in modern Turkish.
