A d-SPME (dispersive solid phase microextraction) procedure was developed using a choline chloride-glucose NaDES (natural deep eutectic solvent) impregnated graphene oxide nanocomposite (GO@NaDES) for the separation, preconcentration and determination of trace Cd(II) prior to high-resolution continuum source flame atomic absorption spectrometry (HR-CS-FAAS) determination. The limit of detection, preconcentration factor, enrichment factor, and relative standard deviation were determined to be 0.613 µg L−1, 30, 30.3 and 4.0–5.5%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to natural and water samples. The d-SPME method can be performed in 15 min for trace Cd(II) determination in water and food samples.
