Özet

The increasing use of IoT and WSN devices has led to a growing interest in the communication protocols for them. Many research efforts have been made to develop better communication schemes that are suitable for their limited hardware. With the rapid development of several evolutionary algorithms, many research studies have been conducted to use them on IoT and WSN devices. In this paper, we discuss the adaptability issues of IEEE 802.15.4, a commonly used protocol for communication among IoT and WSN devices. We then present a new method to improve communication throughput using Genetic Algorithm (GA). The simulation shows that our method achieves best performance in terms of communication throughput.
