Microangiopathic hemolytic anemia (MAHA) is a late hut fatal complication in advanced cancers. In this paper we report two cases presenting with a thrombotic thromhocytopenic purpura (TTP) with malignancy refractory to daily plasma exchange. The prognosis of the patients with TTP associated with malignancy are not as favorable as in the patients with classical TTP Thus, this group of patients should be treated with chemotherapy combined with supportive treatment such as plazma exchange.
