Özet

Türkiye’de kendisini devrim karşıtlığı üzerinden inşa eden muhafazakârlık; halkın kültürel, milli ve dini değerlerinin nasıl dönüşeceğine dair takınılan tavırla görünürlük kazanmaktadır. Bu anlamda sağ düşünce geleneği sınırları içinde zikredilen muhafazakârlık, bu düşünce geleneğini şekillendiren ideolojilerle yoğun etkileşim halindedir. İslamcılık ve milliyetçilik bu anlamda muhafazakâr düşünceyi etkilemiştir. Erol Güngör’de hem İslami hem de milliyetçi duruşuyla her iki ideolojiden beslenmiş ve fikirlerini bu minvalde oluşturmuştur. Dolayısıyla muhafazakâr düşünce geleneği açısından da önemli bir isimdir. Erol Güngör’ün muhafazakâr düşünceye katkısı ancak belirli temalara odaklanarak ortaya çıkarılabilir. Bu çalışma, Erol Güngör’ün sıklıkla vurguladığı ve muhafazakâr düşünceye dâhil edebileceğimiz kavramlarla işlenecektir. Erol Güngör’ü muhafazakâr bir düşünür olarak nitelemesekte kavramları ele alışında muhafazakâr refleksleri, dolayısıyla muhafazakâr düşünceye katkısını görmek  mümkündür.

Built itself through opposition to the revolution,  the Conservatism in Turkey gaining visibility with the manner towards how to change the cultural, national and religional values. In this sense, incorporated within the boundaries of right tradition of thougt, the conservatism is in interaction with the ideologies that shape this tradition. In this context, it can be said that the conservative thougt has been influenced from the Islamism and Nationalism. Erol Gungor with the stance both Islamic and Nationalist was fed from this ideologies and he has created his ideas in this manner. Thus, he is a prominent name in the conservative tradition of thougt. Erol Gungor's contribution to conservative thought, can be revealed focusing on specific themes. This study is aimed at handling concepts Erol Gungor’s often emphasizes. Although Erol Gungor is not seen as a conservative thinker, it is possible to see the conservative reflexes and contributions to the conservative thought.
