Gebelerde amniyon sıvısı indeksi fetal iyilik halinin kronik bir belirtecidir ve gebelik takiplerinde amniyon sıvısı miktarı ultrasonografi görüntülerinden hesaplanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı 2-D ultrasonografi görüntülerinde amniyon sıvısı alanlarının belirginleştirilip hacminin daha net ve kolay ölçülmesine yardımcı olacak bir yöntem geliştirmektir. Bu işlem sağlıklı 39 hafta gebeden alınan ultrasonografi görüntüsünde görüntü segmentasyon ve kenar sezme yöntemleri ile yapılmıştır.
Amniotic fluid index in pregnant women is an indicator of fetal well-being and during pregnancy follow-up the amount of amniotic fluid is calculated from ultrasound images. The aim of this study develop a method helping to measure
of the area of amniotic fluid volume easier by smoothing the 2-D ultrasound image. This process is applied to ultrasound image from 39th week patient with edge detection and image segmentation methods
