Abstract

An efficient method is presented for calculation of modal eigenvalues of optical fibers by using normalized frequency and its modal subscripts. The method depends on the adaptive network based fuzzy inference system. Results of the model and the weakly guiding approximation are compared and it is clearly shown that the results of the methods are agreed with each other.



Optik fiberlerin normalize frekans ve bu normalize frekanstaki modal indisler kullanılarak mod özdeğerlerinin hesaplanması için etkili bir yöntem sunulmuştur. Yöntem, adaptif ağ yapılı bir bulanık sonuç çıkarım sistemine dayalıdır. Model çıkışı zayıfça kılavuzlama yaklaşımı ile elde edilen sonuçlarla karşılaştırılmış ve sonuçların uyum içinde olduğu görülmüştür.
