Abstract

Background: The effect of beta-blockage on cardiac dyssynchrony in idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (IDC) is unknown. This study evaluated the impact of carvedilol and metoprolol succinate on left ventricular (LV) dyssynchrony and reverse remodeling in IDC.
