Flower-shaped organic-inorganic hybrid materials are micrometer-sized hybrid materials with organic and inorganic components. These hybrid nanostructures with flower-like morphology, called nanoflowers, are gaining increasing attention due to their ability to drastically increase the efficiency, stability, and durability of entrapped biomolecules. Nanoflower structures have recently gained importance in green chemistry due to their wide range of applications in many fields such as catalysis, drug release, sensors, dye removal, enzyme kinetics, protein purification. In this study, flower-shaped organic-inorganic hybrid materials were synthesized at different pH values by using ligand as organic molecule and Zn(II) as inorganic molecule, and their catalytic activities were determined by using them as catalyst in the reduction of nitrobenzene derivatives to aminobenzene derivatives after characterization processes of the obtained nanoflower structures.
