- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Wilson’s disease(WD) occur rarely together.
To date, only three cases were reported demonstrating the co-occurrence of MS and WD.
D-penicillamine may act as an immunomodulatory agent which may slow down the course of MS.
MS drugs that influence liver function should be avoided in MS patients with Wilson's disease.
