This study aimsto develop guidancematerialson the topic of evaporation and boilingwithin the Science course, to use the materialswith 5thgradestudents,and to find outthestudents’ opinions about theimplementation ofthesematerials. The participants consist of 10 students studying in a public middleschool in the 2020-2021 academic year. The development and implementation processes of the guidance materials aredescribedin detailin the article. A semi-structured interview consisting of 5questionswasconducted with 5students toget their opinions about the implementation process. Descriptive analysis wasused to analyzethe interviews. The students expressed the view thatthe guidance materialswere helpfulin learning the topic,associating it with daily life,andincreasing theteacher-student and student-student relationships. The researcherssuggest that similarmaterials should be developed to teach different science topics.
