TRACE ELEMENTS AND ELECTROLYTES, cilt.13, sa.3, ss.130-132, 1996 (SCI-Expanded)
A simple and sensitive separation and preconcentration procedure is presented for the determination of zinc, iron, copper, cadmium, cobalt, and nickel in urine at mu g/l level by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The procedure is based on chelate formations of the investigated metals with sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (NaDTDC) and recovery of the chelates from the Amberlite XAD-16 column with 1 M HNO3 in acetone. The relative standard deviations (RSD)for the determinations were found to be lower than 0.07.
