The increase in environmental consciousness creates an upsurge in the interest to natural textile products colored with natural dye sources. But designing natural products via natural dye sources can be not easy because of the unclear relation with the natural dyeing process with the natural product. Determination of optimum dyeing process parameter, which affects properties of the dyeing quality, is a difficult and complex task in the textile dyeing industry. To clear it off, Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method was used in this study as a multi-criteria decision making method for the linen based four different natural end products. The coloration of linen was managed via madder, and different parameters were tested to design four different natural products: kid's shirt, curtain, tablecloth, and shoe bag. TOPSIS method was tested in decision making of the dyeing processes in the light of the fastness requirements probably demanded by the customers for each different natural product. Finally, different alternative dyeing parameters were shaped via TOPSIS method and alternatives were expanded by obtained colors; economic and ecological aspects.
