Özet

In the title compound, C7H6ClNO2, the nitro group is almost coplanar with the aromatic ring [dihedral angle = 2.9 (2)degrees], but the Cl atom deviates from the ring plane by 1.129 (1) angstrom. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions to generate chains.
