The primary and final design procedures of the mixed-mode chaotic circuit are studied using a switching method. The circuit has both chaotic and nonautonomous chaotic circuit dynamics. Computer simulations are used to investigate the dynamics of the proposed circuit. The switching method that changes continuously circuit's chaotic dynamic between autonomous mode could be used as a security key in chaotic communication systems.
