Özet

In this study, cortical activation differences between real and imagined movements were investigated using EEG data. Statistical, model-based, and frequency-domain features were extracted, and significance analyses were performed using a Paired-sample t-test. The results showed that MLE-b, CRB-mu, CRB-b, RMS, Peak-to-Peak, Variance, and DeltaP features provided the highest discriminative power. Significant differences were observed in the frontal, central, parietal, and occipital regions, while Delta, Theta, and Alpha band powers were found to be significant across broad cortical areas. The findings indicate that real movements generate stronger cortical activation than imagined movements and may contribute to the identification of important channels and features for EEG-based motor imagery applications.
