Özet

One of the important activities for the correct recitation, writing and understanding of the Qur'an is the studies of situations of waqf (secawends) in the verses. The most commonly used naming for the works written in this area is "al-waqf wa'l-ibtida". Stopping at the place where the meaning is completed is a requirement of both a proper recitation (tarteel) of the Qur'an and the clarification of the meaning.
