Abstract

The crystal structure of CuU3O10 has been determined by refinement of powder neutron diffraction data; space group P1BAR, Z=2, a=6.516(5) angstrom, b=7.614(2) angstrom, c=5.615(7) angstrom, alpha=109.464(9)-degrees, beta=125.18(2)-degrees, gamma=89.993(3)-degrees. The structure is related to that of USbO5.
