Özet

White cord syndrome (WCS) is a rare but devastating complication following spinal decompression surgery, characterized by acute postoperative neurological deterioration without residual mechanical compression. It is thought to result from reperfusion injury of the chronically compressed spinal cord. We present a case of cervical spondylomyelopathy complicated by WCS requiring reoperation and prolonged rehabilitation.
