Abstract
Purpose: Preventive analgesia aims to manage postoperative pain caused by nociceptive and central stimulation. The purpose of this study was to research the effect of a single-dose intravenous (IV) ibuprofen administration for preventive analgesia on postoperative pain management in orthognathic surgery.
