Özet

Background. Growth hormone (GH) deficiency is associated with increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Abnormalities in heart rate variability (HRV) (such as decreased cardiac sympathetic activity), which is a marker of cardiac autonomic tone, have been found in patients with GH deficiency.
