Özet

Zirconium-based electrochemical sensors, represent a transformative technology with significant implications for smart sensing in energy production and environmental sustainability. Known for its exceptional hardness, high thermal stability, and biocompatibility, zirconium composites serve as a robust material in sensor applications that monitor air quality, industrial emissions, and sustainable energy generation systems. With the increasing urgency of environmental issues and the demand for effective energy management, sensors are becoming increasingly important due to their capability to accurately and reliably identify specific gases and pollutants. The integration of zirconium-based electrochemical sensors into various sectors facilitates real-time monitoring and data analysis, which is crucial for optimizing energy production and mitigating environmental impact. Moreover, integrating these sensors into existing infrastructure requires overcoming compatibility and standardization barriers. It is obligatory to address these challenges for the advancement of the field and for ensuring that these sensors contribute meaningfully to sustainable practices and climate change mitigation efforts. The review summarizes the role of zirconium based electrochemcial sensors towards various real life applications.
