TRACE ELEMENTS AND ELECTROLYTES, cilt.19, sa.1, ss.15-19, 2002 (SCI-Expanded)
In the present study, the atomic absorption spectrometric determinations of copper, lead, nickel and cadmium in dialysis concentrates have been performed after preconcentration and separation on a column filled with XAD-4 resin. The procedure is based on chelate formation of the investigated metals with sodium diethyl dithiocarbamate (Na-DTDC) and recovery of the chelates from the column with acetone. The relative standard deviations (RSD) for the determinations were found to be lower than 10%. Matrix effects of dialysis solution for preconcentration procedure were examined. The recoveries for the analytes under the optimum working conditions were higher than 95%.
