Özet

The scour formed around marine structures plays a critical role both structurally and environmentally. This study was conducted to examine the scour formed around multiple piles placed in a wave flume. The aim of this study is to determine experimentally the parameters affecting the scour around the structure depending on different wave lengths, wave periods, and incident wave approach angles. In this experiment, the effects of different wave approach angles on scour were also examined by aligning the piles at 0, 30, 60, and 90 degrees. Based on the obtained data, the effects of scour mechanisms on the environment and structure have been examined. In this context, sand pool experiments were conducted on a rigid channel base.
