Robotik Süreç Otomasyonu (Robotic Process Automation, RPA), rutin görevlerin yürütme süresini kısaltarak çalışanların daha yaratıcı görevlere odaklanmasını sağladığı için dijital dönüşüm süreçlerinde önemli bir teknoloji haline gelmiştir. 2012’den beri kullanılan RSO, iş süreçlerinin yeniden yapılandırılmasında yaygın olarak tercih edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Erciyes Üniversitesi bünyesindeki Öğrenci İşleri Daire Başkanlığı(ÖİDB) ve Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığı(BİDB) gibi birimlerin öğrenci kayıtları, not girişleri ve burs başvuruları gibi zaman alan tekrarlayan işlemleri incelenmiş ve RSO ile otomasyona uygun süreçler belirlenmiştir. Manuel işlemlerden kaynaklanan iş yükünün azaltılması ve süreçlerin verimliliğinin artırılması hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma, RSO’nun üniversiteye sağladığı faydaları değerlendirerek kamu kurumları ve üniversitelere yol gösterici olmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has become a significant technology in digital transformation processes as it shortens the execution time of routine tasks, allowing employees to focus on more creative assignments. RSO, which has been in use since 2012, is widely preferred for restructuring business processes. In this study, time-consuming and repetitive tasks such as student registrations, grade entries, and scholarship applications carried out by units like the Student Affairs Department (ÖİDB) and the Information Technology Department (BİDB) at Erciyes University were analyzed, and processes suitable for automation with RSO were identified. The aim was to reduce the workload caused by manual operations and increase the efficiency of processes. This study evaluates the benefits of RSO for the university and aims to serve as a guide for public institutions and universities.
