Özet

The phase transitions of the metastable and unstable branches of order parameters that exist in the ferroquadrupolar phase of the spin-1 Ising system are studied. The metastable phase diagram is presented in the ferroquadrupolar phase. The calculated first- and second-order phase boundaries of the unstable branches of the order parameters are also superimposed on the metastable phase diagram. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V.
