Abstract

The concentration of copper (II), cobalt(II), cadmium(II), iron(III) and manganese(II) of some textile materials produced in Kayseri, Turkey, and textile wastewater samples from Kayseri were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry after solid-phase extraction of these ions on Dialon HP-20 adsorption resin which is polystyrene divinylbenzene copolymer. The influences of the matrix of components on the recoveries of analyte ions were also investigated. The levels of analyte ions in the investigated textile samples were found below the limit values given by Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
