This study attempts to examine the opinions of the school directors and teachers who work at the official schools of Ministry of Education (primary school, secondary school and high school level) about woman directors according to data in 2014-2015 education year. These opinions were considered from the view of gender, position, marital status, wish to be a director, educational background, seniority, kind of school and age. General screening model of quantitative research was used in the study for the problem.
The study system consists of 261 people working as school director, chief assistant of director, assistant of director and teacher in the official schools of Ministry of Education in the border of Bünyan country town of Kayseri. Data was collected through “Personal Information Form” which is developed by the researcher and “Factors Effecting the Requirement of Woman Teachers Being a Director: Research In the city of Adana ” developed by B. Binen, (2003). SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software were employed to analyze the data. Chi-squared test of independence was applied in analyis.
