ACTA CRYSTALLOGRAPHICA SECTION E-STRUCTURE REPORTS ONLINE, vol.66, 2010 (SCI-Expanded)
In the title compound, C(13)H(12)ClN(3)center dot H(2)O, the organic molecule is almost planar, with a dihedral angle of 3.22 (10)degrees between the benzene and pyridine rings. The crystal structure is stabilized by O-H center dot center dot center dot N and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding and pi-pi stacking interactions [centroid-centroid distances = 3.630 (1) and 3.701 (1) angstrom].
