Edebiyât felsefesinin târîhi boyunca sözün öz gerçeği ve anlam dünyâsına ilişkin hem Batı’da hem Doğu’da pek çok şey söylenmiştir. Genel İslâm edebiyâtı çerçevesinde, dîvân şiiri geleneği üzerine araştırma yapanlar da bu gelenekte kelâmın hakîkatının ne olduğu ve ma‘nâ âleminin hangi sınırlar içinde bulunduğuna dâir çeşitli tesbîtlerde bulunmuşlardır. Bu çabaların ortaya koyduğu tartışma zemîninde, dîvân edebiyâtına âit manzûm ve mensûr metinlerde çokça karşılaşılan “mazmûn” kelimesi de ele alınmış; bunun ne anlama geldiği ve nasıl bir kavramı karşıladığı birçok kişi tarafından sorgulanmıştır. Son zamânlarda konu üzerinde yapılan çalışmalarda, geleneksel metinlerde, mazmûn kelimesinin ne gibi bağlamlarda hangi kelimelerle bir araya gelerek ne tür anlam birliktelikleri kurmuş olduğu üzerinde durulmakta, bu çabaların sonucunda ortaya çıkan veriler ışığında şiirsel kelâmın hakîkat düzlemindeki özünün ne olduğu anlaşılmaya çalışılmaktadır. Bu mes’eleye dâir daha önce ileri sürmüş olduğumuz fikirler doğrultusunda bu yazıda da, mazmûnun, sözün “idealar âlemi”ndeki -tasavvuf literatüründeki karşılığı olarak “A‘yân-ı Sâbite”deki- özü ya da “kelâmın hakîkatı” olduğu iddiâ edilmektedir. Dîvân şiirinde mazmûnun yer aldığı çeşitli alt evrenlerin yanında bir başka birliktelik evreninde ise, o hakîkî âlem “gül bahçesi”, şiirlerin o âlemdeki özleri “mazmûn gülü”, o mazmûn güllerini bu gölge cisimler âleminde yansıtmaya çalışan şâirler de “bülbül” olarak tasavvur edilmektedir. Bu makâlede mazmûn, çeşitli örnek metinlere dayanılarak bu bakış açısıyla bir kez daha değerlendirilecektir.
Throughout the history of literary philosophy, many things have been said in both the West and the East regarding the spiritual reality of the word and the world of meaning. In the frame of general Islamic literature, those who research on the tradition of dîvân poetry have also found in this tradition various titles of what the truth of the word is and what limits the world of meaning is in. In the discussion space that these efforts reveal, the word “mazmûn”, which is very often encountered in verses and divine texts of the divan literature, has also been discussed; and what it means and where it fits has been questioned by many. In the recent studies on the subject, it is emphasized what kind of meaning combinations in what contexts the word mazmûn has in the traditional texts by coming together with which other words, and the meaning of the poetic word is tried to be understood in the light of the result of these efforts. In the light of the ideas we have already proposed in relation to this matter, it is alleged in this article that mazmûn is the essence of the word or “truth of the word” in the “world of ideas” -“A‘yân-ı Sâbite” as its counterpart in the Sufism literary texts-. In another combination universe besides the various sub-universes in which mazmûn is present in dîvân poetry, that real world is conceived as a “rose garden”, the essence of the poems in that world is conceived as “mazmûn rose” and poets trying to reflect those mazmun roses in the world of these shadow objects are conceived as “nightingales”. In this context, the mazmûn will be evaluated once again from this point of view, based on various sample texts.
