Özet

An efficient method is presented for calculation of modal eigenvalues of optical fibers by using normalized frequency and its modal subscripts. The method depends on the adaptive network based fuzzy inference system. Results of the model and the weakly guiding approximation are compared and it is clearly shown that the results of the methods are agreed with each other. © 2005 IEEE.
