Tam dişsizliğin protetik tedavisi, sınırlı interoklüzal aralık ve yetersiz kemiğin varlığı nedeniyle zor olabilir. Bu klinik rapor, sınırlı interoklüzal restoratif alanı olan bir hastanın mevcut implantlar üzerinde geleneksel olmayan bir yöntemle protetik rehabilitasyonunu anlatmaktadır. Hastanın problemi, mevcut protezlerin palatinal plağı ve fonetik sorunlardı. Daimi restorasyon, anterior maksilla üzerinde hassas tutucularla bağlı bölümlü bir protezi destekleyen implant destekli sabit protezi içeriyordu. 6 aylık takip süresi boyunca hastanın fonasyonu ve fiziksel görünümünde herhangi bir problem yoktu ve herhangi bir komplikasyon oluşmadı.
Prosthetic management of edentulism can be challenging with the presence of limited interocclusal space and insufficient bone. This clinical report describes the prosthetic rehabilitation of a patient with an unconventional method on existing implants, who has limited interocclusal restorative space. The problem was the apperance of the existing dentures’ palatal plaque and phonetic problems. The definitive restoration included implant supported fixed prosthesis on the anterior maxilla supporting a partial removable denture with precious attachments. During the 6-months follow-up period, the patient’s phonetics and physical appearance improved, and no complications occurred.
