Abstract.In sports, physical
and motoric tests are applied to large groups and norm values are formed according to age,
sports and gender. These normative values provide objective data to coaches and
sports scientists or
existing athletes during ability selection. This allows the
correct evaluation and comparison. The aim of this study is to carry out
norm studies on some physical and motoric parameter values according to
age and gender of children aged 7-14 years. For the
sample in this study,7,223 children and adolescents aged 7-14 (5404 boys and
1819 girls). The following field tests were applied to assess motor
performance: agility test (sec), Sprint 20 m test (sec), long jump test (cm),
sit-erish test (cm), flamingo
equilibrium test (n/60sec). The results of thedata show us that ın
all data, a age has an increase with the age. In all age groups in favor
of girls in sit-erish and flamingo equilibrium tests; agility, 20 m sprint,
stopping long jump tests in favor of boys (p <0.05). These reference values are especially important in
health and education environments and can be added to the literature both national and worldwide
about physical conformity values in children.
