Pedodonti Kliniğine Başvuran Hasta Sayısının Günlere Göre Dağılımının İncelenmesi

Özet

Giriş ve Amaç: Pedodonti kliniğine 2 Eylül – 8 Kasım 2019 tarihleri arasında başvuran hasta sayılarının haftaiçi günlerdeki farklılıklarının incelenmesidir. 

Gereç ve Yöntem: 2 Eylül- 8 Kasım 2019 tarihleri arasında pedodonti kliniğine başvuran hastalar çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir.Hafta içi günler 5 gruba ayrıldı.Hangi günlerde hasta yoğunluğu fazla olduğu incelendi.Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tek yönlü varyans testi uygulandı. 

Bulgular: Çalışmaya 6721 hasta dahil edilmiştir.Günlük hasta sayısı 81 ile 212 arasında değişmektedir. Hasta sayısı ortalaması 137,1 ± 34,1 bulunmuştur. Hafta içi günler arasında hasta sayısı açısından istatistiksel olarak fark bulunmamıştır (p=0.622). 

Sonuç: Pazartesi ve Salı günleri kliniğe başvuran hasta sayısı diğer günlere göre daha fazladır. Bu sonuç istatistiksel olarak anlamlı çıkmamış olsa da klinikteki hasta sayısının yönetimi adına göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.

Aim: To examine the weekdays differences in the number of patients who applied to the pediatric clinic between September 2 ,2019 and November 8, 2019. 

Material and Methods: Patients who applied to the pedodontics clinic between September 2 and November 8, 2019 were included in the study. Weekdays were divided into 5 groups. Weekdays which the number of patients was higher were assessed. One-way variance test was used to evaluate the data. 

Results: 6721 patients were included in the study. The number of patients per day varied between 81 and 212. The mean number of patients was 137.1 ± 34.1. There was no statistically significant difference between the days of the week in terms of the number of patients (p = 0.622). 

Conclusion: The number of patients presenting to the clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays is higher than on other days. Although this result was not statistically significant, it should be considered for the management of the number of patients in the clinic.
