Usage of authentic poetic fiction texts in Russian as foreign language lessons as a basis for shaping intercultural competence
This article focuses on the potential of usage of poetic texts in RFL lessons to shape multicultural competence. The author bases on the ability of a poetic text to combine the qualities of a spoken language and of a musical work, which motivates the types of productive language learning activities fostering dialogue and tendency to reflect the learned culture and its value and ethical features. Thus, the interaction between the learner and the ethical-esthetical content of Russian poetry is able to foster the shaping of intercultural competence.
