Özet

This study aims to investigate healthcare professionals utilize the hospital information management system within the framework of the technology acceptance model. In line with the purpose of the study, 325 healthcare workers participated in the study between June 1 and September 1, 2024, yielding 325 valid responses. Participants included 185 male and 140 female professionals from public hospitals in Kayseri Province, Turkey. A “Technology Acceptance Scale” consisting of 25 statements was used in the study, and the data were collected via a questionnaire. The SPSS and AMOS package programs were used for the analysis of the data obtained, and descriptive analyses, correlation analysis and structural equation model analyses were used for the analysis of the data. The study revealed that perceived ease of use of the hospital information management system positively influences perceived benefit and attitude, while perceived benefit positively influences attitude and intention. Additionally, it was determined that attitude significantly influences intention, and intention positively affects behavior. The research findings indicate that healthcare workers exhibit high levels of acceptance of the hospital information management system. This study will make valuable contributions to filling the gap in the literature regarding the enhancement of positive outcomes in healthcare services. Furthermore, this study will serve as a valuable reference for healthcare managers and practitioners.
