Erzurumlu Ermeni hakkâk, kuyumcu, biblo ve mühür ustası Mosis aynı zamanda Hakkî mahlâsıyla Türkçe şiir söyleyen bir 18. yüzyıl saz şairi, aşuğudur. Meşhur dîvân şairi Nâbî’nin sohbet meclisine, muhtemelen bir ortak dost vasıtasıyla, Mosis’ten bir mektup gelmiştir. Nâbî de, hem kendi hem de meclistekiler adına, o dönemde edebiyat dünyasına henüz girmiş, genç bir şair olan Mosis’in mektubuna cevaben bir mektup kaleme almıştır. Nâbî’nin, şakalaşma görüntüsü altında Mosis’le inceden alay eden, haddini bilmesi için onu küçük düşüren, mizahî bir dil ve üslûpla kaleme aldığı mektupta Mosis’in meslekî, etnik ve dinî dünyasından pek çok kelime, terim ve özel isim yer almakta, ayrıca hristiyan örf ve âdetlerine sıklıkla rastlanmaktadır. Üstad bir dîvân şairinin âşık tarzı Türk şiiri geleneğine mensup, hristiyan Ermeni aşuğu ile kurmuş olduğu dostluğu belgeleyen bu mektupta, hristiyan Ermeni şairlere bakışı etrafında Nâbî’nin poetikasıyla ilgili bazı küçük ipuçlarını yakalamak mümkündür. Makale çerçevesinde bu mektubun muhtevası, dil ve üslûp özellikleri tahlil edildikten sonra on nüshasının mukayesesi ile oluşturulmuş metni verilmiştir.
Mosis who is an Armenian engraver, jeweller, knick-knack and stamp smith from Erzurum is also an 18th century minstrel and ashik (bard) that recites poems in Turkish with the pen name Hakki. A letter arrives from Mosis to one of the meetings of famous Diwan poet Nabi with his friends probably by means of a common friend. And Nabi writes a letter on behalf of him and people in these meeting in response to the letter of Mosis who is a young poet that newly joined the literary world. In the letter that Nabi wrote in a humorous language and style in a way that mocks Mosis implicitly and humiliates him in order to teach him his place as if he was just joking, there are many words, terms and proper names from the occupational, ethnical and religious world of Mosis and Christian customs and traditions are often encountered. In this letter that provides evidence about the friendship established between a master diwan poet and Christian Armenian ashik who is a member of ashik-style Turkish poetry tradition, it is possible to find some minor clues related to the poetics of Nabi within the framework of his approach to Christian Armenian poets. The content, language and style features of this letter have been analyzed and the text created as a result of the comparison of its ten copies has been provided within this article.
