In the environmental sustainability
concept, this paper investigates the relationship between agricultural emission
and per capita income. Additional variable is agriculture sector energy
consumption. Our data is related to 1990-2010 period for 22 countries which are
in the Eurasian region. Firstly, dynamic OLS and full modified OLS are applied
to the data. The results show that Environmental Kuznet Curve (EKC) hypothesis
is valid for agricultural emission and income. Moreover, there is a
co-integration relationship between agricultural emission and both income and
agricultural energy consumption. Secondly, dynamic panel GMM and dynamic OLS
are applied to little modified data. Results again, imply that EKC is true for
agriculture sector. Based on these results, political and intuitional
regulations could be developed for environmental sustainability.
