Özet

Safety can be defined as the condition of not being in danger or the condition of being
protected. Throughout this chapter, various aspects of ICT safety for children and
adolescents will be examined. Safety precautions include physical, biological, social, and
ethical measures as several ways of protecting pupils from concerns related to ICT and its
applications in the school environment are discussed. Various recommendations and
strategies are offered for securing student ICT safety at school and home.
