Abstract

The title compound, C16H19NO2S, crystallizes with two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit in which the dihedral angles between the planes defined by the aromatic rings are 35.3 (2) and 42.5 (2)degrees. In the crystal, intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds stabilize the packing.
