Abstract

The relationship between chemical structure and anti-HIV-1 activity was investigated in the series of nucleoside analogues including 71 compounds (39 active and 32 inactive ones). ET-method has been used to reveal the features of activity and to construct a system for the activity prediction regarding new compound design with the properties given beforehand. Two fragments of activity are found which have comparatively high degree of their realization in the class of active compounds -92%.
